This is preposterous and we must stop it!

Every year, 1.2 million Indians are dying due to toxic air. Greenpeace India’s recent report Out of Sight revealed that coal-fired thermal power plants have the largest contribution to air pollution crisis in India. If that’s not shocking enough, consider this: Our government is likely to dilute the emission standards even further.

This is our chance to tell the government that lowering safety standards is unacceptable. Clean air is our basic right, and together we must ensure our health and safety doesn’t get compromised.

Join the movement for Clean Air Nation and ask the government to put in place a robust Clean Air Action Plan for India. Add your voice to the petition and make the right people feel the heat!
